The 12 volt Hurricane raft inflator produces a strong consistent flow of air to quickly inflate boats to 2 psi. It deflates, too. The Hurricane is a hands-free design by virtue of its on/off switch and hose. The pump comes with an adapter to fit a wide variety of valve types. Should you overheat the unit it has an automatic shutoff to protect the motor. Alligator clamps allow quick and easy connection to your vehicle’s battery.
One-year warranty is strictly enforced; after the warranty period, a factory rebuild is available.

This pump does (did) a good job of quickly inflating my 16′ Avon Pro, though you might want to wear hearing protection when using it (seriously). When inflating my raft to prepare it for winter storage, the already-too-loud pump wailed the cry of death and self-destructed before my eyes after only two seasons of use. So, good pump while it lasts. Note in the product information the strict adherence to the one-year warranty, after which you can purchase a rebuild. Sorry… I think a $90 pump should last more than a couple of seasons (5-6 trips).
